At the Spring Into Summer Salad Supper on May 13, women volunteered to take cards and gift bags to women in our church and connected to our church (neighbors, friends, co-workers, MDO) who were affected by the flood. We have already received heartfelt thanks from several of the women who received these gifts. Below is the note from one of them which summed up beautifully what so many have said:
Dear FHBC Women's Ministry,
Thank you so much for the gift card and bag of yummy goodies! It was such a sweet and thoughtful gift. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such generous family and friends. Our church family has been a blessing in this storm. We know the Lord will be with us through this hardship and we thank him everyday for being so faithful. Thank you so much for your prayers during the next several months.
