In-Home Ministry

The In-Home Ministry is relatively new at FHBC. The In-Home Ministry Team is made up of small groups with a group leader from the team who coordinates with the volunteers to regularly visit, make phone calls, and send cards to those members who are unable to physically participate in church. The In-Home Ministry provides a bridge between the homebound person and either a Sunday School class, Bible study, or fellowship.

As the Ministry grows, the In-Home Ministry team hopes to minister to non-member individuals who are homebound as well.

The ministry’s goal is to be sure the in-home individual knows that they are not forgotten and that FHBC cares about them. This is accomplished through Christian fellowship, continuity of the bond between the in-home person and their Sunday School class, telephone calls, cards, and visits.
