Volunteers

Synago Student Ministries is primarily a volunteer-led organization.  More than 30 volunteers and 200 parents make up the potential leadership.  Additionally, all church members that pray regularly for the parents, students, and leaders play a vital role.  The following structure helps every student know how and where they serve and lead.
  • In-Prayer - These members are committed to regularly pray for students, parents, and leaders by name.
  • In-Service - Help is always needed to accomplish effective ministry to students. The leaders on this team are called them upon them when needed to provide funds, transportation, food, housing, etc.. It provides an excellent avenue for parents to be involved while still giving “space” to their student who is growing in a need for independence!
  • In-Touch - This team is comprised of everyone who is in touch with students or parents on a regular basis.  From small group leaders to event coordinators, these leaders serve and train regularly throughout a given year.
  • In-Motion - This team sets the direction for the ministry. It is comprised of workers, parents or other church leaders that show an earnest care for the student ministry. Regardless of staff changes, this team will be equipped to carry our ministry into the future with a core of trained leadership.
