MDO & Preschool

Mother's Day Out (MDO) & Preschool is a ministry of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Its purpose is to provide a loving Christian environment where children can grow intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially. It is our joy to watch and help facilitate a child maturing as the Bible tells us, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." - Luke 2:52

Since its inception in 1988, the Mother's Day Out & Preschool ministry has focused on serving families and young children living in Williamson and Davidson counties and throughout Nashville. It is our desire to help young children begin their path of success by providing a stimulating learning environment at every stage of development. Hands-on learning experiences are provided daily through art, reading, music, science, home living, manipulatives, and physical education.

We believe each of the children enrolled in our program is a special gift from God, and we are excited that He has given us the opportunity to make a difference in their young lives. The program is managed by Director Carolyn Smith and Assistant Director Lisa Hill, and is supervised by a five member overseeing committee in addition to the ministerial leadership of FHBC.
