Climbers

Fellowship

On the third Tuesday of each month, the Climbers meet in the Fellowship Hall at noon for an entertaining and informative lunch. Some months are covered dish luncheons while other times the food is catered from local restaurants.

Road Trips

Day trips occur throughout the year and include both announced destinations and “mystery trips” to local destinations of interest. The Climbers travel by charter bus on these trips and have recently visited such places as Miss Patti’s Settlement in Kentucky, Miss Mary Bobo’s, the Cumberland County Playhouse, Historic Rugby, and the Cracker Barrel Warehouse and Headquarters. Each Fall and Spring this group enjoys “Breakfast in the Park” at Edwin Warner Park, a beautiful setting on the Little Harpeth River, where they share a wonderful meal prepared by some of our outdoorsmen!  Extended trips have included areas such as Branson, Ridgecrest, Macinac Island, Pigeon Forge and Callaway Gardens.

Sunday School Classes

There are many styles of Bible study and fellowship available for Climbers every Sunday morning.  Click here to see a list of classes.

Ministry

Many opportunities for using your spiritual gifts exist in our group, and there are many different positions to be filled for service. The Climbers play a very active role each year in volunteering for various ministries such as the Prayer Ministry and the churchwide Fall Fest held each October.
